Sarah Mallia runs the Arts & Culture Program at PAWA254. Matatus are seen as the embodiment of anarchy in Kenya; but Sarah and Sarabi are pioneering an innovative approach using matatus to drive social consciousness in Nairobi.

This popular afro-fusion band whose 8 members originate from Eastleigh have been described as the “The next force in Kenyan music.” Sarabi will belt out an acoustic performance featuring some of their iconic pieces that igniting social change through the arts.
