December Coaching News

Harper's Coaching Updates

Welcome to December!!

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas." This is my absolute favorite time of year! I of course enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, but I also love the joy the kiddos in the classroom have during this time! Lots of fun projects, family involvement, and sharing (gifts and lots of love). "Its the most wonderful time of the year!" **Okay I'm finished :)

We are busy busy busy this month with both our personal and professional schedules. Please keep me posted on any schedule changes. Since I am doing LEAP observations I am coming in certain times to see specific lessons but I am flexible.

I received an email from the district today of the feedback from the DR survey you all took last month. It is so meaningful and useful to me to know what is working, and not working, so THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing. While I do not know who wrote what, I do have a general idea of some improvements I need to make. I would love any additional feedback if you would like to share. It helps me with my own leadership goals, and it helps us improve our leadership system at EBA.

Your LEAP observation is the only observation/classroom visit I will be doing this month. We will still meet to do your feedback conversation and set new goals. I am also hoping to squeeze in a Team Iceberg meeting before break...I'll keep you posted.

Team Kuddos!

I know I make complements a lot but, you all really are doing an amazing job! I see so many great things in the classrooms, and hear great things from our colleagues and leadership team. While I do have the largest caseload at our school, I feel honored to work with you all. I have grown both professionally and personally since we began this school year, and most of it is in result of the work we do together. My hope is that I am giving back to you at least as much as you give to me. Thank you for your commitment to putting what is best for our students first!!
