MSA WEEKLY UPDATES
Math & Science Academy August 17, 2020
Message from Mr. Lam
Dear Academy Families and Students,
Happy First Day of Virtual School!! I want to welcome you all to the 202-2021 school year. I know we are starting out a little differently; however, I know that Math and Science Academy will embrace this new learning format and excel in learning with your teachers and peers. I will once again provide weekly updates via the newsletter and emails from me. Please reach out with any questions or concerns that you have to myself (Donald.lam@fortbendisd.com) or Mrs. Suarez (belinda.suarez@fortbendisd.com)
In these newsletters, you will find helpful information about the academy events, news, and celebration. Below are the two most frequent questions that students has been asking so far.
Enrichment Hours: You will find links in the newsletters to enrichment opportunities for the semester. Please remember that you will need to complete two enrichments per semester for a total of four for the year. We will provide you with opportunity to virtual enrichment opportunities for the fall semester and hope we can have some in person enrichment opportunities in the spring.
Volunteer Hours: We are currently working on what that is going to look like this semester, so please be patient with us. Once we have it, all figured out we will let you know.
I hope you all a very happy, safe, and healthy summer.
Mr. Lam
