What we learned this week:
βοΈGrammar - Students reviewed commas and were introduced to semicolons.
βοΈWriting - Students worked on a new writing piece: Personal Narrative. They discussed what it means to have a small moment and learned different ways to write an introduction.
βοΈMath - Mrs. Scott's math class continued learning about adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. Miss Seigel's class completed their unit on dividing decimals.
βοΈIn Science we worked on creating our dioramas for the 4 different earth's spheres. We are creating dioramas to show the geosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and hydrosphere.
βοΈIn Social Studies, we began our Colonies Project in cooperative groups. We researched the different colonies in their regions. We researched their climate, resources, daily life, workforce, etc.
