Welcome Mia A. to our morning class!!

What Are We Learning This Week??

We are continuing our study on balls. Last week we talked about different kinds of balls and which ones bounce the highest. We will practice using tallies to count bounces this week as well as practicing patterning. We are going to retell The Little Red Hen and discuss the beginning, middle and end as well as social skills the book addresses (working together).

If anyone plays a sport that they would like to come share about with the kids please let me know - we love visitors :) We will be working on this study until the second week of April.

We are reviewing the number 15 and letter X. We are introducing the letter Y this week as well.

Speech-Language Group- March 23-27, 2015

This week, we will follow directions by identifying the letters/sounds A, V, N, M. We will identify and name colored eggs and name the letter puzzle pieces that are inside of them. We will imitate the words and actions to the rhyme/finger play "Hop and Stop".

Hop and Stop

The first little rabbit went hop, hop, hop.

I said to the rabbit, "Stop, stop, stop!"

The second little rabbit went run, run, run.

I said to the rabbit, "Fun, fun, fun!"

The third little rabbit went thump, thump, thump.

I said to the rabbit, "Jump, jump, jump!"

The fourth little rabbit went creep, creep, creep.

I said to the rabbit, "It's time to sleep!"

Pick Up/Drop Off Update:
We are hopeful that Spring is here to stay! In anticipation of warmer weather, we will return to lining up OUTSIDE after Spring Break. Please have your children line up on their classroom line when you arrive. Our preschool staff will come out to greet the preschoolers and walk them to their classroom. At the end of the preschool day, preschool staff will walk the children outside. We are excited to move out of our small hallway and get back outside! Just a reminder, your prompt pick up is appreciated! We do not have staff to supervise children who arrive early or are picked up late. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call at 402-514-3242. Thank you! Kristy Feden

Please let whoever drops off or picks up your child know to meet us on the line! Thanks!

To manage an organized forum we ask for everyone to RSVP to plsdcommunications@paplv.org if you plan to attend. Registrations will also be accepted at the door. There is no need to attend both forums, the same information will be shared at each forum. The forums will take place on…
