Argyle ISD Campuses Honoring 9/11
- Argyle High School students will wear red, white and blue, and special presentations will be made during U.S. History classes each period.
- During Argyle Middle School Social Studies classes, students and teachers will have special tributes including the showing of The Man in the Red Bandana, a documentary film of a hero who saved several lives in the South Tower.
- Hilltop Elementary, Argyle West Elementary and Argyle Intermediate students and staff will wear red, white and blue in remembrance and pay tribute during the daily announcements.
Grandparents Day Parade Coming Monday
With current safety guidelines prohibiting visitors on campuses, both schools have provided a creative new way to make sure their grandparents are celebrated. Grandparents of both campuses will drive along a route around the campus with students ready to celebrate with them from the sidewalks! Make sure to visit the Hilltop Elementary and Argyle Intermediate websites for more information on the routes or contact the campuses for details.

Bus Transportation Reminder for Parents
This is a friendly reminder for parents/guardians regarding district guidelines pertaining to students attempting to ride the bus home with friends.
For the safety of all our Eagle riders, bus transportation is provided only to registered bus riders. Students are only allowed to ride their assigned bus. Emergency transportation may be granted on a temporary basis by the Assistant Director of Transportation. Also, please remember that notes from parents/guardians are not accepted as authorization to ride a bus.

Get Registered for the PSAT!
The 2020 PSAT for Argyle High School Juniors will be administered at AHS on Wednesday, Oct. 14, beginning at 8:30 a.m. This is an optional exam opportunity.
Additional information about the PSAT can be found on the AHS website's PSAT Information and Payment page, or contact Lynda Devine at 940.262.7777, ext. 2108. Registration and Payment are due by Friday, Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. The cost is $17.

Meals for Virtual & In-Person Students
If you are interested in picking up meals for your children while they are enrolled in virtual learning, please complete the form linked below and someone will contact you ASAP to discuss the options. We will provide lunch each day and breakfast for the next morning. Meals will be charged according to student meal eligibility (prices listed on form).
Meals for in-person learners will be held in the school cafeterias with social distancing requirements and all students will wear masks in the cafeteria until they are seated to eat. Floor markings will be in place for social distancing requirements. Salad bars will not be used, the menus will be reduced and items will be packaged for students. Flu shot clinic dates are now scheduled for Argyle ISD Staff and Immediate Family members.

Argyle West Elementary:

Argyle Intermediate School:

Census 2020 Happening Now!
The 2020 U.S. Census provides critical data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and many others use to provide daily services, products, and support for the community. Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data.
You can respond to the census online, by phone, or by mail. Census takers will continue to follow up in-person with homes across the country through September 30 in an effort to reach everyone.
