Connect2Texas - Revitalize Your Students and Your Lessons
Even the best lesson plans may not always hold students' attention. Connect2Texas can bring a new perspective to topics that you teach. Through desktop videoconferencing, your students have access to interactive learning provided right in your classroom by our content partners. A scientist can teach the three states of matter, for example, or a historian will show actual artifacts from an ancient shipwreck. How about providing students with the opportunity to discuss space exploration with an archivist who has original NASA drawings and documents? These are just a few examples of how Connect2Texas can bring new and exciting content enhancement opportunities directly into your classroom.
School administrators, please share this information with your teachers so they know this educational and easy-to-use resource is available.
A complete list of upcoming programs is on our Connect2Texas website.
Most Connect2Texas providers offer on-demand scheduling as well.

Uplifting Educator Stories - Share Your Education Success Story with TEA
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has launched a statewide social media campaign to tell the remarkable stories of Texas educators. They are seeking stories that demonstrate rigorous and rewarding classroom experiences, student achievement, and student human interest stories that go beyond success in a typical class or on a test.
If you have ideas for this project, email the story and photo to Lauren Callahan, firstname.lastname@example.org. A new story will be selected each week and shared statewide via the TEA social media accounts using the hashtag #IAmTxEd.
