Robertson Feb. 11, 2021 Returning to school:

Big picture

In March, we are planning to re-open our building for in-person learning! We are so excited to see your child!

We are planning to follow a "hybrid" schedule—with children learning in-person for 2 days each week and at home for 3 days each week. The hybrid schedule allows us to follow social distancing protocols from the health department, and masks will be required at all times.

Families can choose for their children:

  1. Return to hybrid in-person learning at Robertson with their current teacher and class

  1. Enroll in 100% online that is separate from Robertson.

a. With that said, if you choose to keep your student fully online with no in person school days, you will need to transfer your student out of Robertson and into a fully online program. This will mean your student will have a different teacher if you choose 100% online learning. You will need to begin that transfer by clicking the link below.

Details on schedules, times, bussing, and meals will be provided as they become available. For now, here are a few pieces of important information:

  • Grades K-2, 6, and 9 will begin on Monday, March 1.

  • Grades 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 will begin on Monday, March 15.

  • Generally, students with last names A-L will attend in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays, and students with last names M-Z on Thursdays and Fridays. We will make adjustments as needed to balance class size.

We understand you want to know what hybrid in-person learning will look like at Robertson. To answer your questions, we will host a virtual Hybrid Q & A Family Night on Thursday, February 18th at 6 pm (English) and 7 pm (Spanish). Information with the links for the meeting will be sent prior to February 18th.
