Hinkle Creek Parents and Friends,
We had a great week of school. It was cold outside, but warm inside. Our teaching staff appreciated this past Wednesday’s eLearning day, even though, due to the poor weather, it was one of several eLearning days in the past week. We appreciate the opportunity to learn professionally together on these scheduled eLearning days. On our scheduled eLearning days, our teachers go through training, and other learning opportunities to help us all become better teachers. Thank you parents for understanding the importance of these scheduled eLearning days.
A special thank you to all who joined us at Texy Mexy on Tuesday night for our Hinkle Creek Spirit Night. It was fun to see all of our Hinkle Creek families and friends.
Attention 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Parents:
Noblesville Schools is committed to providing a great school experience for all students. To assist in this, we use a platform called Panorama to survey students. This spring, students in grades 3-12 will be surveyed at school sometime between February 28 - March 11, 2022.
The surveys will gather input on topics like school climate and culture, emotion regulation, self-management, social awareness and belonging. When students feel connected to their school environment, they are more engaged and increasingly successful in both academic and social achievements. More information on the survey can be found here.
Although these surveys are not mandatory, student perceptions will provide valuable insights for future planning, support and programming. Results will be used to determine needs based on trends for our school.
You can preview the surveys here:
If you wish for your student to opt-out of this survey, please complete this opt-out form. The survey is voluntary and students are welcome to choose an alternate activity (read, homework, etc.) at the time the survey is given.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact our district counseling coordinator, Dana Nelson at (317) 773- 3171 or dana_nelson@nobl.k12.in.us
eLearning Days:
Our school appreciates our eLearning Days as they help our teachers gain professional development. March 2, 2022 is our final eLearning Day scheduled for this school year.
*If you are struggling to find supervision for your child on these days, please contact the Hinkle Creek main office at 317-776-0840.
Thank you for being such great parents!

Noblesville West Middle School Performing Arts
Parents,
Over the past few weeks, the music directors from Noblesville West Middle School were able to come to your child's school and discuss all of the great opportunities that happen in the performing arts classes in the middle school. These classes consist of Band, Choir, and Orchestra. Students not only received a paper copy of the information, but they (and you) can find out more about our classes on the CANVAS course that was pushed out to them late last week.
Each school that we visited was full of eager and attentive students who most certainly seemed excited about the prospect of being a part of one (or two) of our award winning performing arts classes at NWMS. Students can choose to be in any one of the three classes OR combine Band or Orchestra with Choir and be in two groups.
These groups, as we told the students, are a part of the school day and are not extra curricular. Therefore, just as many of our students currently do, they are able to continue their outside activities and still be a part of the performing arts department and we would love to have them be a part of our groups.
We are certainly looking forward to another great group of sixth graders entering into our building and are looking forward to meeting them in person and helping them begin their musical journey.
WE are hoping to have all interested students signed up no later than February 18th.
In order save your child's spot in one of our award winning groups please click THIS LINK or go to www.noblesvillemusic.org
We look forward to meeting you and your child in the future. Please reach out to any of us with any questions that you may have.
Musically,
Mr. Stacey White
