Reflection Corner: Celebrating Valentine's during Lent

If we love one another, God lives in us.

And God’s love is perfected in us, - 1 John 4:12

Blessed Valentine’s Day!

Celebrating Valentine’s Day this Season of Lent is a beautiful reminder a life of unconditional love, reverence, and self–sacrifice is the greatest gift. This is the very gift demonstrated by Saint Valentine and by the other saints past and present and of the life of Jesus Christ. Love your neighbor as YOURSELF.”

PRAYER:
Come, my Savior, comfort our spirit.
Make us steadfast in our love for you,
So that we never cease loving…
When I began to love, your love laid hold of my heart.
There is a warmth in the loving heart…
And from it has given sweetness,
And in particular, music which comes in to soothe our spirit,
For there you, my God and my comfort,
Have set up your Temple.
