6th Grade Orientation
Glen Meadow Middle School

Welcome to Glen Meadow Middle School!
On Friday, June 9th, Glen Meadow Middle School faculty and staff welcomed our incoming 6th graders for their 6th Grade Orientation. Students arrived with their 5th-grade teachers and counselor and were treated to an energetic presentation about all of the wonderful things that await your children at GMMS. We are incredibly excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year partnering with you and your children!
Arrival Video
As your children arrived, they were treated to a five-minute video that showcased all of the amazing things that our students do and become a part of at Glen Meadow Middle School. That video may be accessed HERE.
Orientation Presentation
Although students went home with a hard copy of the presentation that was shared by Mrs. Van Orden, principal, and Dr. Kosek, assistant principal, we are including a link to the presentation with an embedded video HERE. Ask your children to tell you all about what they learned and what they are most excited to get involved in!

Mark Your Calendars: Open House Dates
The Glen Meadow Middle School Open House dates are scheduled for Thursday, August 24th, and Friday, August 25th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please feel free to drop by at any time during that timeframe to walk your child's schedule and meet the GMMS administration!
Inspire Kindness
It’s never too early to teach the value of kindness and the impact that kindness can have on those around us. We all have the opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the people in our lives simply by being kind. Learning about, implementing, and inspiring kindness is the foundation of a successful learning community.
On Friday, your children went home with a gray and white inspire kindness bracelet. Every GMMS student, faculty, and staff member has an inspire kindness bracelet and we encourage your children to wear theirs! At Glen Meadow Middle School, we pride ourselves in inspiring kindness and look forward to your children doing the same!
