Who Do I Say He Is?

"But Who Do You Say I Am?" (Matthew 16:15)

If this question was presented to me then I would say that Jesus is one of the many examples that God loves us. Jesus is the Son of God, who was sent here to teach us and loves us as God would do. He was the living sign of God’s love. We, as human beings, have to understand that Jesus wasn’t just here to teach us, but also to save us from our sins. God wanted Jesus to set an example for all of us of how we should live our religious lives. God wanted Him to make the path the Paradise so we could follow.

In the footnotes of Matthew 16:16, it explains what Simon Peter meant when he said "the Son of the Living God". Through this I learned this can also be a reference to when Jesus resurrected and appeared to Peter. I found interesting that it referenced to an event that was going to happened in the future.

Bible Passages

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your intelligence do not rely." (Provers 3:5). This verse supports my idea of Jesus of His knowledge. because the kind of that i was talking about isn't the knowledge of being smart and knowing facts, but of believing and having faith in God and Jesus. "Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ." (Ephesians 4:32). Through this passage we can see how we should treat others the same way we have been and want to be treated. We also acknowledge that God did most of his actions through Jesus Christ.
