How to connect to a PC
To start you connect your dvi or vti cable from the the monitor into the appropriate output on the PC. Then you connect the power cable into the other output on the PC.
What types of monitor are there
CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) computer monitors were the most common computer monitors until flat panel screens became affordable. Similar to older TVs, CRT monitors still typically have much better contrast ratios and viewing angles than other computer monitor alternatives.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) They provide a wide viewing angle and come in sizes typically ranging from 17-inches to 60-inches.
PLASMA computer monitors are less commonly used with computers due to their high operating temperatures, high power consumption, and fixed resolution.
Touch-screen computer monitors provide a new way of interacting with your computer with a touch-sensitive screen.
Price range
You can spend about £100.00 for a low quality 15" all the way up to about £999.00 for a 60" high quality high power screen.
