Mrs. Jump's Newsletter
First Grade 2015-2016
Note From the Teacher
This was another great week in 1st grade...
In Reading, we worked on the main idea and supporting details. In Writing, we worked on informational writing. In Math, we worked on finding the missing addend or missing partner in story problems. Also, we absolutely love having guest readers. If you are interested in reading to our class, please let me know. We would LOVE to have you! :-)
Thank you to everyone for participating in the Major Saver Fundraiser!
We also had a BEAUTIFUL Veterans' Day Assembly this week and it was beyond touching. A BIG BIG thank you to all of our Veterans. Your dedication does not go unappreciated. There are a couple pictures that were taken from the assembly at the bottom of the newsletter. I was unable to take pictures of everyone due to people leaving before I could find them, so I apologize if I missed any pictures.
