Spanish 2
Plans for the Week
Greetings Families!!!
This is a short week so we will include next week as well on this newsletter.
¿Qué haces en la escuela?
¿Cuáles son las reglas?
Students will be able to use the following in addition to current and former vocabulary words as they discuss and ask questions related to our EQ’s
- · Prestar
- · Atención
- · Respetar
- · Se prohibe
- · Hay que
- · Tener que
We will take a quiz by Monday of next week. Students should know vocabulary and how to use "Hay que..., Tener que..., Se prohibe... to discuss class rules and expectations.
Please talk with your child regarding having appropriate behavior in class, transitioning to and from lunch and after school dismissal. Also, they must adhere to the rules when using the computers and in the computer lab here at school.
Since we are discussing class rules in Spanish, they should be able to comprehend instructions to not have food, gum or beverages in class without special permission from the teacher. In addition, students are expected to take pride in our classroom and clean up behind themselves. This will also help with lost work. We often find classwork, worksheets, etc. on the floor. We will try to upload copies of handouts on this blog just in case they are "lost" but we all hope students will be responsible and have care for the items we give them. Let's save the trees!
Below are a few sites and videos that students can go on for extra help. Search for the topics they are struggling with or the topics we are currently working on in class.
We hope this all helps!!!
Special Note from Sra. Gasque
When looking at student grades please note the "I" = Incomplete work. Students have most likely not turned in the assignment. They still have the opportunity to turn it in before it becomes "M" = Missing work which is 0%. I hope this helps!
