2022-23 School Year :: April 24, 2023
A Message from Mrs. Hankins
This week is National Library Week (April 23-29) and I would just like to take this time to celebrate Mrs. Kegebein and all she does for the library. Mrs. Kegebein helps our students find books they will enjoy and foster that love of reading. She puts in time outside of our school day to have reading nights for families and opens up the library during the summer for crafts and an opportunity to keep reading going throughout the summer. The Scholastic Book Fair she helps organize gives students books at home, and Scholastic gives us Scholastic Dollars for purchases that help fund our library books. We are so thankful for all she does for JSE!
Another staff member we need to celebrate this week is Mrs. Minton. Wednesday is Administrative Professionals Day! Mrs. Minton is a most valuable asset to JSE. She takes care of all of us staff, students, and families. Mrs. Minton helps keep us organized, and brings that amazing school spirit to JSE where we feel at home. She is the first impression of JSE as you walk into our building and helps make everyone feel loved. We are so thankful for Mrs. Minton and all she does for us at JSE!
I hope you all have the opportunity to know amazing women like these two ladies in your lives. Thank you Mrs. Kegebein and Mrs. Minton!
Have a great week,
Mrs. Hankins
