Grade Level Student Goals for May
Special Education
Math-Students will compare light and heavy objects as well as putting sets of numbers in order from greatest to least.
ECSE-Students will review letters and letter sounds, work on cutting skills, work on creating pre-writing strokes and counting sets of objects.
Pre-K
Math-Students should be able to identify numbers 0-10, count 0-10 items and count to at least 30.
Kindergarten
Math-Students should be able to count from 1-100 from any given number as well as write and identify numbers to 20.
First Grade
Language Arts-Students should be able to read contractions in context and retell a story in chronological order.
Math-Students should be able to identify and describe 3 dimensional shapes such as a cone, sphere, cylinder, cube and rectangular prism.

If you or someone you know are concerned that your child may have a disability, your child may be eligible for an evaluation. For children who are not yet in school, parents can contact the Atascosa McMullen Cooperative (830 569-1355) to talk about evaluation. For children who are already in school, please contact the campus directly for more information. The milestone checklist in the link below shows how most children develop between ages 2-5.
