Multi-Generational Leadership:
Helping All Generations on Your Team Be Successful
Join Us for this Dynamic Keynote Event...
North Point ESC's Business Advisory Council is excited to host this engaging keynote presentation by Mark White on June 12, 2023 for all school & business leaders in the region.
Business leaders today are studying ways to lead four generations --- the Baby Boomers, the Gen X'ers, the Millennials, and the Gen Z'ers. School leaders also have these generations in their staffs, but their youngest students, the ones born since 2011, are in Gen Alpha, which means today's school leaders are leading five generations, making them some of the first 5-Gen Leaders in the world.
Both business & school leaders in this keynote presentation by Mark White will gain an understanding of 5-Gen Leadership, which includes understanding the generations in our society and recognizing the new generation gaps that have been brought about by accelerated change and technology advances. Examples include understanding the various forces that have shaped the different generations, helping different generations with their technology needs, realizing how parenting styles impact each generation, helping the generations communicate, and how different generations deal with change.
Participants will gain a better understanding of:
- what all generations are looking for in an organization as they seek employment,
- how to retain all generations, especially the Millennials and Gen Zers who are more likely to leave to pursue other careers,
- tips for helping Baby Boomers and older Gen Xers adjust to the rapid disruptions reshaping schools and businesses today,
- the power of reverse mentoring to help all generations,
- the role effective training/PD plays in attracting and retaining employees and how to design training to engage the different generations
This morning will give business and school leaders practical ideas they can use immediately to attract and RETAIN talented team members - and ultimately lead more effective organizations.
