Saturday Academy Opportunity for TAG Students
We are fortunate once again to have funds to provide opportunities for Hillsboro TAG students to enroll in Saturday Academy classes and camps. Hillsboro School District will fund one class per student per term (fall, winter/spring, summer) until our funds are expended. Students may enroll in any class in science, technology, engineering or math, or a college prep writing or math class. We are not able to support registration for PSAT, SAT, or ACT prep classes as this time. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accommodate cancellations. Cancellations for any reason other than a dire emergency will result in forfeiture of this opportunity. Should a class be cancelled due to low enrollment or an emergency by Saturday Academy, there is no penalty and the class will be rescheduled or you will have an option to enroll in a new class.
To register for a class:
1. Go to https://www.saturdayacademy.org/#Classes--Camps and find a class that interests you and meets the above criteria.
2. Follow the usual steps to register for a class. (If you need information on how to register, click here.)
3. Enter the voucher code HSD1718 in the box below the credit card information.
PLEASE NOTE: The system must process this voucher as a rebate. Your credit card will be charged and a refund processed within two business days. The refund may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement. If you are unable to accommodate the charge, call the office at 503.200.5858 after entering the voucher code and our staff will complete your registration.
Our Winter/Spring term is open for registration! Click here to view over 100 options for your student!

TEDx Youth@Lincoln Street
Hillsboro youth are invited to participate in this official TED talk event, in its second year. The theme is "Why Not?" interested students should fill out the application at http://tedx-ls.tk/ - they do not have to have everything figured out, but an initial proposal. If accepted, students will be mentored by someone in the City of Hillsboro to develop their talk and will perform, be videoed, and uploaded to YouTube as an official TED talk presenter. This is a great growth opportunity and resume builder for students.
