Magee Halloween Parade - Tuesday, October 31, 2017
We will exit the school out the south doors, going down the hill and across the field (there will be cones marking the route), coming out on North Street and walking to the sidewalk right next to the Union House. We will then parade right through the heart of Genesee Depot on the north side of the street, heading back to North Street to get back to Magee through the field behind school.
**K4 and AM EC students can return with an adult to walk in the parade.**
You can find a spot on the route in Genesee Depot or on the field behind Magee!
The route change was made to ensure students are walking on sidewalks when on Hwy. 83 as much as possible for safety reasons.
This annual event attracts several hundred spectators and participants! Come out and enjoy the fun!

Costume Guidelines
Students should bring their costume to school with them. Costumes are not worn during the academic day, as teachers will allow time before the parade for students to "suit up". Face paints and dyed hair are classroom distractions and may only be applied immediately before the parade. Older students should be able to put on their own costumes and accessories. Kindergarten students will have some help putting on their costumes.
Please help by monitoring the type of costume your son/daughter selects for this event. In order to participate, the costume must be in good taste (not too short or revealing), non-violent, and age- appropriate. Costumes that contain any blood/gore will not be allowed; nor will scary clowns. Also, costumes (soldiers, police officers, etc) need to be unarmed for the safety of students.
