Important Information & Updates From Seattle World School
Hello From SWS! | February 6th, 2023
Hello, SWS Community!
We encourage everyone to attend the upcoming community meeting on Wednesday, February 8th, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is for staff to connect with families and make important decisions for our school. A delicious meal and interpretation will be provided, and there will be opportunities to win a gift card.
We hope to see you there!
Important Reminders
Breakfast / Lunch Program Forms:
Students have received family income survey forms to complete and return to the main office by February 8th.
SWS is one of many Seattle schools that offers all students free meals (breakfast and lunch). The federal and state governments require students to complete families a yearly family income survey to determine what schools will offer free meals.
Please contact Mr. Diaz Rios for more questions.
Student Immunizations:
Washington state law requires that students receive appropriate vaccinations for school entry by February 9th, 2023. After that date, school administrators are required to send students home until the student immunization requirements are completed. Washington State Law allows exemptions to the immunization requirements for religious, medical, or personal reasons.
For more information on immunizations, contact Nurse Andrea Kurtzman or go SPS Health Services website: https://www.seattleschools.org/departments/health-services/
