A Note from the Principal...

Hello Hodgkins Families,

On behalf of the entire Hodgkins staff, we welcome you and your family back for another AMAZING school year!

For the past few weeks we have been working on preparing the building and classrooms for the return of our students. With the addition of our 8th graders to the building, we have now completed on transition to a PK-8 building! We are incredibly happy to be keeping our middle school students with us and look forward to continuing to see them grow as a leader as they prepare for the transition to Westminster High School.

As always, student safety is our top priority. This year all students and staff will continue to wear masks when in the building, we will wash our hands throughout the day and will social distance when practical. I ask that you help ensure that we all stay healthy by not sending your child to school if they are feeling ill with flu and/or COVID like symptoms.

On a personal note-I know that the last few years have been challenging for all of us. I continue to be absolutely humbled and honored that you put your trust and confidence in the staff at Hodgkins to support your child on a daily basis. On behalf of the entire staff, thank you and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the upcoming year!

Best Regards,

Mrs. Swieckowski

Important Back to School Information...

Health Precautions and Notifications

It is extremely important that if your child is demonstrating flu and/or COVID like symptoms, please do not send them to school. We ask that you call as soon as possible to notify the main office of your child's absence. At that time, we will ask for their specific symptoms, as we will track overall trends of symptoms throughout the building. Please do not message your child's teacher regarding the absence. Please call 303-428-1121 to report an absence. If before or after office hours, please leave a voice message.

Students will not be assigned a device until the agreement is completed and submitted. Although the Protection Plan is OPTIONAL, we highly recommend that our families take advantage of the opportunity. It is important to note that the protection plan is not activated until the fee has been paid.

Please be sure to read the handbook with your child and be sure to submit the acknowledgment form on the last page. If you have any questions, please contact the main office.
