Giving Tree (last week to participate): Don't forget that if you would like to participate in the toy drive for those in need, learners may drop off unwrapped toys in the cafeteria, immediately upon their arrival at school. The PTO will be on hand to assist them in placing an ornament on the tree on display in there. This is a good opportunity to reinforce the idea of giving to others!
We are working on some Reader's Theater plays during E time. This is low key, no memorization, no props, etc. We hope to film our performances for you to view!
HOUR OF CODE: Last week we participated in the Hour of Code which encourages everyone to practice computer programming. Many were interested in exploring more about it. This was one of the sites we used. We used the "block" method. There are 3 different "characters" to choose from ... Star Wars, Frozen and Minecraft. Your learner may want to check it out again!
