Principal Update
8/31/21
Greetings!
August 31, 2021
Dear Beaumont Families,
Welcome back! I hope your summer was relaxing and everyone is healthy, happy, and ready for school. We are excited to meet our new students and to welcome back students that were here last year. Schooling in the last 16 months has been varied due to the pandemic. I applaud parents and our teaching staff for their support of student learning. Schedules can be seen in ParentVue or StudentVue. We will also have them available tomorrow at the entrances.
We want to make sure that you have important information that you need prior to returning to campus. Below are important dates, information about the first day, a link to the school supply list, and the names of the new Beaumont staff members.
Parents can view student schedules on Synergy.
We have new staff members to welcome to campus this year. Please join me to welcome the following staff to Beaumont:
Ethan Kramer: Assistant Principal

Important Dates for the month of September:
First Day of School September 1st, 2021: All Students
Back to School Night has been rescheduled for September 30th. There is a chance that this will be virtual.
Key Information:
Masks: All students and staff are required to wear masks daily to ensure that we are in compliance with the PPS District and State Safety Mandate.
Grade Specific Entrances: We have designated specific entrances for each grade level. If students have Art, Band, Choir, or PE, they will use the entrance closest to their classroom.
Grade 6: 41st And Fremont
Grade 7: Bryce Street
Grade 8: Science Hallway
School Pay: We are continuing to use SchoolPay this year for school donations (like PE Uniforms, Art Donations, Choir Donations, Band Donations, etc. You will receive information about SchoolPay in the back-to-school packet. Also in this packet, you will find directions on how to complete the digital Student Verification Form. Please update your emergency contacts and change any information that is outdated.
School Supplies: We wanted to make the beginning of the school year a little less stressful and also save everyone some time and money. Since bigger purchases get better discounts, we are asking parents to pool their resources with the school and do a School Supply Drive. If we work together, the school will purchase and give out the following items:
3 inch 3 ring binder
Pencils/Pens
Math composition book
Tabbed dividers
Ruler
Writing composition book
copy paper
Kleenex
Colored markers/ colored pencils
Pencil pouch
Zippered pencil pouch
Highlighters
Glue stick(s)
To accomplish this, we are asking families to make a one-time contribution of $55.00, or make 4 payments of $15.00 each (two payments of $30.00?). This will cover classroom supplies throughout the year. We have already received payments from about 10% of Beaumont families, and are hoping to have most families participate in our School Supply Drive. If you are able to give a little extra to support a family who cannot contribute, that would really make the start of the year better for a Beaumont student in need.
Payments can be made through SchoolPay, by check, or by sending cash with your student in an envelope with their name and "School Supply Drive" on the outside.
Thank you for your efforts and commitment to making this school year a success!
Other items for your information:
The district will not use late opening days this year for Teacher Professional Development.
The Beaumont Staff look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday, September 1st. Breakfast will be served at 8:40 am. The students will be able to head to their classes at 9:08 am. The day ends at 3:45 pm.
Sincerely,
Dr. Harriette Vimegnon, Principal & Mr. Ethan Kramer, Assistant Principal
