Principal's Post

Dear Irish Families,

I hope that you find this new version of our weekly schoolwide newsletter to be easy to navigate, mobile friendly, informative, and appealing with the new design.

It is truly a blessing to be back at school, with our St. Patrick family. I thank you for your your patience as we assessed our campus to ensure that it was safe for our students, faculty, and staff to return. When you choose to entrust your children into our care, we know they are your greatest gift and safety is always our #1 priority. Shout out to Mr. Eugene, Mr. and Mrs. Highsmith and boys, Mrs. Carpino and her daughter, Mr. Calhoun, and Coach Rick, for joining me to prepare our campus for our safe return. I know other families wanted to help as well and we are certainly stronger together and appreciate the time and talents shared.

While we needed to close school for 3 days, we were granted amnesty and will therefore only need to make-up one school day. We will make-up the one day required and will do so will a full day of school on Friday February 14th. Yes... that was originally designated as a Weather Day! Yes... that is Valentine's Day!

Our updated 2019-2020 School Year Calendar is found HERE.

While we were very fortunate in northeast Florida with the impact that resulted from Hurricane Dorian, our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Bahamas took a direct hit and it will take considerable time to recover. As we pause and give glory to God with a prayer of Thanksgiving, let us also not forget those who were most impacted by Hurricane Dorian and hold a special place in our hearts for their families and communities. As a school, we are determining how we can best support those in the Bahamas and look forward to sharing a plan with you very soon.

Your Partner in Faith & Education,

Mr. Kent
Proud Principal
