LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Dolphin Families,
The week was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of accomplishment as our students embraced the opportunity to showcase their talents and camaraderie. The culminating event, our celebratory Activity Day, was nothing short of spectacular. It was a joy to see our students dressed up, enjoying each other's company, and participating wholeheartedly in a myriad of activities. The spirit of unity and cooperation was evident in every corner of our school, as we celebrated our successes in the first semester. It was a testament to the vibrant and supportive community we have fostered here at DIMS.
With a great end to this week, we also are looking forward to the upcoming mid-winter break. This well-deserved time off provides an opportunity for our students, staff, and families to recharge and spend quality time together. Whether you have exciting plans or simply plan to relax at home, I hope this break brings joy, rest, and rejuvenation to each of you.
Warmly,
Mary Ingraham

Screenagers Under the Influence: Vaping, Drugs and Alcohol in the Digital
Screenagers Under the Influence: Vaping, Drugs and Alcohol in the Digital is a film that examines how the ubiquity of technology has changed the way teens are exposed to risky behaviors and substances. In our technology revolution, the amount of exposure teens have to substances via shows, ads, social media, and so forth is unprecedented. Mental health issues and substance use are linked, and teens need opportunities to gain skills to handle challenging emotions and discuss issues related to substances. Screenagers Under The Influence provides exactly that. This film, along with the two other Screenagers films, offers a way for youth and adults to discuss issues and solutions.
Caring for our Neighbors at Dismissal
