Update on LIP Learning
Friday, September 25th
Dear Eagle Families,
Thank you for your patience as we work through the details of Limited In-Person Learning (LIP). We know that everyone has different feelings about this model and coming into the building, and we are working to accommodate your needs.
This newsletter has important information about safety, as well as pickup and drop-off for LIP learning next week. We are so excited to see our students in the building! If you are not participating, we understand completely.
Middle school will NOT have LIP Learning during the 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. window next week. They will have regularly scheduled online classes. If you are a middle school parent, please look for an email on Monday with some options for afternoon in-person study hall sessions. We are working to make a thoughtful decision so that we don't have to change the plan again. I apologize sincerely for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we work toward a solution that best supports all of our students' needs.
Sincerely,
Rosemarie El Youssef
Principal, St. Therese School

All students must wear a mask or face shield during LIP Learning.
Bring your own water bottle - drinking fountains are turned off for safety.
COVID HEALTH SELF-CHECK
When you arrive, we will ask you for a thumbs up, or thumbs down regarding these symptoms. If you are a thumbs up, we will take student temperatures. If their temperatures are below 100.4, we will ask them to get out of the car and come into the school! If they do not pass the temperature check, you will need to take everyone in the car home with you.
We ask for your patience as we work through this process. We are all learning how to make things happen in the time of COVID!
Drop-off
You may line up early, but we will not begin to let students out of the car until 8:45 a.m.
Pick-up
An adult will signal you when it is ok to leave. Someone will be at each crosswalk to protect the children moving to their cars.
Pick-up is organized by the YOUNGEST student in your family. If you have a 1st grader and 4th grader, you will line up in the 1st grade parking lane (RED). If you have a 3rd grader and a 5th grader, you will line up in the 3rd grade parking lane (GREEN).
Students will walk down the aisles to your car. Please stay with your car, although you are welcome to stand so your student can find you easily.
Keep speed to 10 MPH while exiting the parking lot. Our priority is the safety of our kids!
Exit to Halsey ONLY.
