Men's garments
Most men wore soft, loose shirts that gave them enough space to move in. Many of the other garments that were worn are below:
- Full sleeved shirts

- Stocking tops
- Cloaks
- 3-piece suit
- Linen shirts
- Banyan
- Slashed sleeves
- Doublet
- Jerkins
Stocking top
Loose coat-like shirt worn over men's shirts.
Banyan
A loose informal coat worn over the shirt and breeches.
3-piece suit
Worn on special occasions.
Men's garments (bottom half)
They usually wore something that kept warmth. Men most likely wore hose or leggings under their trousers or breeches. Other garments that were worn are listed below:
- Knee breeches
- Trousers
- Leggings to go under breeches
- Brocade pants
- Hose to keep warmth
Leggings
Were worn under breeches or trousers to keep warmth.
Knee breeches
Common garment worn. Usually at knee length, but sometimes longer.
Brocade pants
Brocade pants were knee length or longer and were soft.
Women's garments
Women would usually always wore bodice or corset. They never wore pants and would wear skirts and dresses. Women usually wore shifts which were worn under their dresses. Other tops worn include:

- Bodice
- Tight waisted silohuette
- Chemise in place of shifts
- Needle lace shirts
- Virago sleeves
- Slashed sleeves
- Sleeve ruffles
- Corset
Virago sleeves
Sleeves gathered into puffs and tied by strings or ribbon.
Waistcoat
A sleeveless upper body garment.
Chemise
Chemise's were worn as a nightgown.
Women's garments (bottom half)
Women wore dresses, petticoats, and skirts. People could identify a women's status by what they are wearing.

Petticoat
Petticoats were worn with a gown or jacket.
Overskirt
Were worn over a shirt. They were full length.
Riding Habit
Consisted of petticoats, and waistcoats, riding habits were suitable for traveling.
Headwear
Men:
Hats would be worn most of the time and would be taken off when greeting a lady.

Feathered hat
Were a general hat worn.
Monmouth cap
A woolen cap that was knitted.
Neglige cap
A soft, silky hat.
Headwear
Women:
Many women would wear caps at home because it would keep hair out of their face.

- Tall broad hats with brims

Cap
Caps were worn to dress the head without styling the hair.
Lappet cap
Lappet caps had to flaps hanging on both sides of your head.
Mob cap
A mob cap had a puff crown on the back of the head.

Women:

Mules
A light slipper or shoe without a back.
Latchet shoes
Everyday shoes that were worn.
Buckled shoes
Buckled shoes were made of silk or leather. It had buckles or clasps to fasten quickly.

- Ruffled colars
Accessories
Women:
Accessories would sometimes help people identify a persons status. Women who wore collars would be identified as rich or wealthy.
