End of School Year Reflection

What an epic year this has been! This year was a success because we all worked together. We are very proud of our Mustang Family and admire the perseverance, resilience, and dedication of all. While many students and teachers look forward to the summer, we recognize that change can be challenging, and that can look different for everyone. We will continue to look at ways to help our students notice, express, and manage their feelings. Over the summer we will be working hard to create plans focused on ensuring our students are academically prepared and supported next year.

As specific guidance and plans develop we will be sure to keep you informed. Be well, stay safe, and thank you for your continued support. Have a great summer. We are looking forward to seeing you this fall.

PBIS Recognition

Time to celebrate! Our school has recently been recognized for our work implementing an equitable, multi-tiered system of support. This is a school-wide framework aimed at closing achievement gaps and increasing the number of students who graduate ready for college or a career. National research shows that full implementation of this type of framework leads to improved student outcomes. This framework has helped us increase the consistency of effective instruction for all students, build staff knowledge and skills to support all learners, use data to proactively identify and provide support for students, and shift to a culture that supports stronger relationships with students and their families. As a result of our work, we are being recognized by the Midwest PBIS Network in the following areas:

Tier 1 Teaming and Leadership

Tier 1 Learning Expectations

Tier 1 Teaching Behaviors

Tier 1 Acknowledgement Systems

This helps us celebrate our efforts as we progress toward full implementation. To learn more about the Midwest PBIS Network’s Recognition process, visit

Student Chromebooks- End of Year Information

In order to provide greater flexibility, we would like the majority of our students to keep their district provided Chromebooks over the summer. All students currently in 3rd-7th grade will keep their device over the summer. If they are participating in a summer school session, they will need to bring their devices with them daily, as they would normally during the school year. In addition, we will also be maintaining a helpdesk one day per week throughout the summer if anything needs to be addressed with the device before school begins in August. 2nd and 8th grade students that will be turning in their device, charger, and bags will be given instructions on the collection process in the coming weeks. 2nd grade students that are attending summer school will be issued a device at summer school. Please click here for more information.

5th Grade Parents

Reminder to 5th grade parents. The State Of Illinois requires all 6th grade students to show proof of both a physical and dental examination. Forms should be turned in to Conrady's health office.

Enjoy Summer- Go Outside and Play!
