These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. The following members were in attendance: President Stephanie Clark, Vice President Kurt Buchholz, Secretary Jason Loebach, Robert Bruno, Bruce Currie, Linda D’Ambrosio, Erica Nelson. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Katie McCluskey sat in for Superintendent Gordon.

  • Dr. McCluskey shared that Superintendent Gordon has been named the District 41 Educator of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. He will be honored at the Community Awards event on Tuesday, February 26.

  • Superintendent Search Update
    Search firm BWP & Associates representative Dr. Philip Ehrhardt was in attendance and answered Board member questions related to topics including community focus groups and the survey. To date, the firm has received 24 applications for the position of superintendent of District 41.

  • 2019-2020 Class Size Targets
    Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Marci Conlin explained the process for class size targets and answered Board member questions. The recommendation is to keep the class size targets that were set last year in place for the 2019-2020 school year.
