Ask your child to share some of the things they have been doing during their Morning Meeting! Ask them to show you some of the greetings they have learned so far this year!
Students have been creating rules, learning their daily routines and classroom/school expectations. Students even created their Hopes and Dreams for first grade!

4th Grade News!
The Fourth Grade has been studying Civics in preparations for our Field Trip to the State House on October 25th. We have been talking about what it means to be a citizen of a community, state, and country. Together we discussed and developed the expectations of our classroom. We can identify the three branches of government and how they work in a checks and balances system; along with the responsibilities of each role. We can compare different types of government. Included with this article is a picture of an activity we did with the three branches of government. Be on the look out later this month for pictures from our field trip to the State House.
