Remember...There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 18 & Friday, January 22.

Materials Distribution

We will be having our next learning material distribution on 1/20 and 1/21. Here is the information you need to know:

  • The distribution will take place on Wednesday, 1/20/21 and Thursday, 1/21/21.
  • It will take place from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm both days.
  • When you arrive, please pull up to the front doors, remain in your vehicle, and staff will come out to your vehicle.
  • Please have the names(s) and grade(s) of your students written on a piece of paper before you arrive. Show the paper to the staff as they approach your car. This helps to speed up the distribution process.

NJHS Ornament Auction Update

We are SO proud of our very own NJHS students. They had a very nice article in the BDN written about their Ornament Auction. If you have not seen the article, you can see it by clicking HERE. NJHS is excited to share that the total raised from the Ornament Auction was $255.00 and that money will be donated to Project 16:49! Thank you to everyone who participated in this awesome event!

Doodle for Google

Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools. If your student is interested in participating, click HERE for more information.

BookQuest is a reading competition open to ALL 4th and 5th grades, where they compete in teams against other schools in the city. The competition this year will be April 9th. The format will be determined once we know if we will be back in school at that time or still virtual.

CLC (Virtual Program)

Fruzen has an afterschool, virtual CLC program where our own teachers offer all of our students tutoring and homework help for 1 hour every night...FREE! If your student has fallen behind and/or could benefit from the program (there is also an enrichment piece), PLEASE call Mrs. Arp at 361-2020 or email for more information.

Tech Thursdays at the Beloit Library
Are you frustrated with your student's iPad? Does it seem impossible to log in to Distance Learning and access instruction? If your family struggles with iPad issues the School District of Beloit offers answers, solutions, and support for all of your Distance Learning iPad issues every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Beloit Public Library. No appointment is necessary; just stop by with your iPad and our team of experts will help you through your technology problems. Spanish interpreters will be available at the library during these support times. The next iPad support time occurs Thursday at the Beloit Public Library from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
