Google of the Week
Each week students have the opportunity to test their research skills by finding the answer to a weekly Google question. Students who turn in the correct answer have their name entered in a drawing for a large chocolate bar.
Google Hangout with Book Club-Veteran
To go along with reading The Running Dream, students in Ms. McVay's class had the chance to visit with a veteran who lost his legs in combat via Google Hangout.
Students also asked questions to the veteran's physical therapist
Since she could not be a part of the Google Hangout due to travel, the physical therapist participated by phone in the visit.
