Scheduling Input
We are already beginning to think about our schedule for next year and would like to gather some input from you. Please answer the few questions on the survey linked below. We will take your feedback and comments into account when completing scheduling for next year. When we are farther along in the scheduling process, we will solicit further input from teachers through a scheduling committee.

Retention Candidates
In the fall, I asked everyone to send me the name of any student who may need to be retained. Fulton County policy requires that we send a second letter in March for students who have not shown significant improvement and who remain candidates for possible retention. Before I send these letters, I will reach out to you regarding any student who was placed on the retention list in the fall.
If a student needs to remain on the list, please make sure that you are communicating with the parents your continued concerns so that they will not be surprised to receive a letter from me. If you have students who have improved enough to be removed from the list, or you have gained a new student who needs to be placed on the list, please send me their name.
Thanks, Stephanie
EOG Device Check and Practice Test
On March 7 from 10-11am (I’m hoping it won’t take the entire time), all 3rd and 5th grade students will participate in a Mandatory technology check for Spring Milestones. Students will complete the Secure Practice Test with Response transmission. The purpose of this assessment is two-fold: 1. The assessment will familiarize yourselves and students with the EOG platform and the tools that are available. 2. The district has set the date and time for this Practice Test in order to test the system and ensure that it can handle the maximum number of students who will be testing at any given time in April or May.
More specific instructions for the Stress Test will be sent to 3rd and 5th grade teachers in the next few days.
Prior to the Stress test. All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers, please ask your students to confirm that they have the DRC Insight icon on their desktops and that they can open to the login page. Please let me know of any devices that do not have a function DRC Insight icon by Friday, March 1st.
