Stressors
• School can be a stressor for teens because they have to keep up with all their school work and for an athlete, they must make sure that they are passing every class to play their sport and it can put a lot of stress on them.
• Money can put a huge amount of stress on any person because everyone has to pay bills for many things and when we spend money on something that we don't need that could end up putting stress on someone when it comes down to actually paying bills but not having Money for it.
• Relationships can cause stress on a person when in a fight or in a rocky place. Getting in fights with your partner and having to work it out is capable of putting stress on someone.
• Thinking by itself can put a lot of stress on a person because when someone thinks about the outcome of a situation, they usually think negative if they are unsure and sitting there thinking about it for a long time can put stress on someone.
Stress Relievers / Strategies
• Stress can be caused by thinking about the past. If a persons focuses on the present and not worry about the past, the stress is more than likely to slowly go away.
• Multiple people use yoga as a way to relieve stress because it relaxes your mind and muscles and make you forget about what is going on in your life that is causing the stress.
• Laughing can relieve stress by making someone's mood better. Laughing boosts the brain cells causing a persons mood to change.
• Listening to music often helps people relieve stress because their mind focuses on the music and what they sing is saying rather than thinking about what is causing the stress.
