William was only a boy when he helped the first man escape from his pursuers, he never knew that man's name the only thing he knew was that he was being chased by slave catchers. This sparked his destiny that he didn't know yet but would become remembered by many.

William Still was named Chairman of an organization that created the Underground rail road that helped slaves get to Canada because Canada was a safe haven for slaves trying to escape from slave catchers, and was the best pace for any slave to go to. He also Harbored John Browns Wife after the Raid of Harper's Ferry.
