Too much alcohol can cause you to pass out, and possibly need medical attention

How Does Alcohol React to You

Alcohol will pass through your body depending on your size. The more blood in your body, and the more food you have in your stomach will delay the side effects. The amount of alcohol in what you drink will also affect how soon the side effects hit you. One last thing is the amount of time you drink it in.

Other Ways Alcohol Effects You

Alcohol can cause weight gain. One can of beer contains 150 empty calories. Empty calories don't have many nutrients with them. It can also weaken the immune system. You can catch diseases easier. You could also get alcohol poisoning. Alcohol poisoning can cause you to pass out and maybe even die. Another thing is that your heart or respiratory system may fail. That would be leading to death.

What Can Alcohol do to Young People

People who drink under age can become addicted to alcohol. All of the effects are more likely to happen to their body. One big thing is that alcohol damages the brain. When you are younger your brain is still developing. Alcohol will stop the growth of brain cells. At the age of 25 is when your brain is fully developed.

How Can You Fix The Damage

There is a process that is called neurogenesis. Neurogenesis will take cells off of your brain stem. The doctor will use those cells to strengthen the brain cells that are left. It won't give you new brain cells. It just strengthen the one you have.

How Does Alcohol Effect Your Liver and Kidney

The liver cleans poisons from the blood. When the alcohol enters the blood stream it goes through the liver and kidneys. When the gets tired and can't keep up. The liver cells die and the liver swells. This is called fatty liver
