January 11, 2016 The Power of Positive

A positive outlook on life is one of the most powerful assets you can have. Positive people expect success, good health, happiness, wealth, and good relationships and those things tend to show up in their lives. This is not because they are already successful, or because they are more confident and thus more outgoing, it is simply the attitude. This is a basic law of attraction: positive thoughts breed positive results. Your thoughts are much more powerful than just electric signals between synapses, they affect your life and those around you! Dr. Kevin Elko shared many ways of the impact of YOU talking to YOU. He also shares Monday morning inspiration, I have added the link below. Let's have a great week!

"I'm not looking for blessings to come into my life, I'm looking to be a blessing."

Monrovia Middle School is blessed to have two counselors who strive to serve EVERY kid. From organizational skills and academic success to parents, enrollments/withdrawals, retention, RTI, and an overall counseling program, the duties are endless and eye opening. Most importantly, these ladies know our students' stories and their needs. They listen to help resolve conflicts that happen not only at school, but in the homes of our kids. The monumental task that these ladies have in carrying the burdens of our kids doesn't go unnoticed. They are constantly "on call." Thank you for blessing others Mrs. Tribble and Mrs. Wilson.
