A Time of Joy...
Dear RSPS Families,
Today marks the start of the third week of Advent. Today, we light the pink candle for "joy." There are so many things for us to be joyous about here at RSPS! The wonderful and supportive staff here at school all find joy in being with your children and have chosen to spend their days helping them learn and grow. Your children find joy in being able to gather, learn, and build relationships at school with their friends. We all find joy in the overwhelming responses from our parents in the giving of their time and resources to help our school. Most of all, we are joyful that as a school community, we are able to prepare for Jesus' birth and celebrate the unconditional love he has for each one of us.
Please be sure to read through the remainder of this newsletter to make sure you are aware and your students are prepared for the activities we have planned as we get ready to celebrate the day of Jesus's birth.
Letter from Superintendent Dr. Hargens and Chancellor Sellinger
Mask Status - 12/13 - 12/17
Masking is mandatory this week at our school. Thank you for your partnership and vigilance to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.

Christmas Gifts of Gratitude -The HSA is proud to offer the Christmas giving program, “Gifts of Gratitude.”
This program provides a convenient way for families to express gratitude to the dedicated faculty and staff that have supported our children in the fall semester. Families make monetary contributions and all of the contributions are pooled to give the faculty and staff member one total sum of money in the form of a check. Here is the link for making contributions. Or, you can visit the school website and click on “Gifts of Gratitude” located on the HSA page. The HSA Gifts of Gratitude Program will be open from November 28, 2021 through December 13, 2021. Simply record your family name and make a contribution that you are comfortable with. Your contribution will be divided amongst all faculty and staff. The Deadline for submitting gifts is December 13, 2021 and your FACTS account will be invoiced (to your oldest child) on December 17, 2021.
Participation is completely voluntary, and if families prefer, email messages of thanks are always welcome!
This is a confidential program and the faculty and staff will not be aware of the individual gift amounts.
