Honor Choir


It's time for Honor Choir to begin! This year, 3rd graders are also invited to join! Any student from 3rd-5th grade may sign up for Honor Choir.


Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 3:20-4:15 pm in the music room starting October 27th until May 11th.


Our holiday performance is still in the works, but will be finalized soon!
Our big spring performance is at the Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, May 6th, time TBD. Since this is a performing group, please make every effort to have your student at every rehearsal.

Storybook Parade / Idiom Day

In celebration of our Reading/Language Arts curriculum, BBE will have Storybook Character & Idiom Day on Friday, October 28!

Kindergarten: Dress as your favorite storybook character, and parade around the school

1st & 2nd Grades: Dress as your favorite storybook character

3rd, 4th, & 5th Grades: Dress as your favorite idiom


Teachers will send detailed information.

Friday, October 28, BBE will celebrate our annual Fall Fest hosted by BBE PTA! Please see the BBE PTA section below for details regarding Food, Silent Auction, Class Basket Raffle, Cake Decorating Contest, Sponsors, Soda & Chip Drive, and Fun & Games!

Lunch Visitor Policy

Any Day: Student Birthday / Half Birthday

Tuesdays: Kindergarten & 4th Grades

Wednesdays: 1st & 3rd Grades

Thursdays: 2nd & 5th Grades


All visitors must check-in to the front office upon arrival, have your drivers license scanned, and wear your visitor badge while on campus. Lunch visitors will be directed to sit at the visitor designated table with their child. Eating outside with your child utilizing the picnic table areas is open everyday.

It's that time of year!

GENERAL CLINIC GUIDELINE REMINDERS-


As always, it is important to keep your child home when he/she does not feel well.

Daily health checks must be done prior to sending your child to school.


What does your student need to thrive every day at school?

  • Sleep! (approximately 9 hours per night)

  • Breakfast and snacks

  • Water Bottle - PLEASE make sure you send your child with a water bottle

  • Change of Clothes in the backpack esp K-2 (accidents of all kinds can/do happen)


Please do NOT send your child to school if he/she has or has had:

  • Coronavirus / COVID-19

  • Temperature of 100 ºFahrenheit or higher – measured when no fever suppressing medication has been administered within the past 24 hours.

  • Vomiting

  • Diarrhea in the past 24 hours

  • Persistent, hacking cough

  • Continually runny nose with white, green, or yellow mucus

  • Eyes that appear swollen, red, and weeping

  • Strep throat - may return 24 hours after the antibiotic is started and fever has subsided.

  • Rash of unknown cause anywhere on the body

  • Lice - excluded until all live lice have been removed, they must be walked into school by a parent to be checked by the nurse before returning to class.

Fall Fest Ticket Purchase

Parents, we have a new online platform this year. Please follow these steps when purchasing wristbands, food tickets, and class basket raffle tickets. (BBQ sandwich & Chick-fil-A closes Friday the 21st, everything else closes Tuesday the 25th)

Step 1: Head over to bbe.givesmart.com and click on buy tickets

Step 2: Add the number of tickets/food/raffle tickets you want to purchase, then click next

Step 3: Enter required information. **IMPORTANT: in the "Company or Group Name" section, you will enter the name of your oldest BBE student, grade, homeroom teacher**

Step 4: Check out stage: Uncheck Attendee 1, (leave ALL attendees blank)


If you forget to complete Step 3 and 4, you can still correct AFTER submitting. It is important that we have the oldest student name, grade, and teacher to facilitate the distribution of the wristbands and tickets.
