Teacher Websites . . .
At the end of last school year the Titus Community was surveyed. A common theme trended; the need for more electronic communication from our classrooms. Titus teachers have been working towards a building-wide goal: Strengthen the communication between teachers, parents, and students electronically. Teacher leaders have provided the Titus faculty with the staff development and resources necessary to implement effective teacher web sites.
The Titus faculty is being encouraged to list district required information (names, contact info and curriculum links) and also provide the community with a bit more. Our teachers are maximizing the use of online communication by: modeling instructional videos, posting class notes, utilizing online calendars and uploading photos of class events. Please visit your child’s site to learn more: click here.

Live from Action News . . .
We would like to thank Mr. Marraccini, Rosie and Justin’s dad, for volunteering his time to present an assembly to third grade. Mr. Marraccini shared his experience as a camera man for a news team. He helped the students identify important parts needed for a news story and gave them tips on delivering a presentation. Since third graders are completing a newscast for their reading inquiry projects, they all really loved hearing from Mr. Marraccini.

S.A.C Serving the Community . . .
January 19th Martin Luther King Jr. day is also known as the National Day of Service. Well, Titus will be a part of that day. Through the month of January each home room will be collecting money for the Radysynky family who lost everything, except the clothes they were wearing, to a house fire. Luckily no one was injured or killed, but the home was severely damaged. The Radysnsky family lives in Chalfont, so it is a Titus neighbor.
Please collect any spare change because that change can lead to a change in their life.
Home & School Association:
Box Tops . . .
Thank you to everyone who sent in Box Tops last month. For the month of December, we collected 3,743 Box Tops! Congratulations to Mrs. VanVreede’s 6th grade class for sending in the highest number of Box Tops last month with 913!!
For the months of January and February, we will be doing a Box Tops Make Your Own Sundae contest. How it works is that for every 10 Box Tops a class brings in, they will receive a ticket in a raffle box. At the end of February, we will draw a winning ticket out of the raffle box. The class that has the winning ticket will receive an ice cream sundae party. The more Box Tops a class brings in, the greater their chances of winning!
Don't forget, we also collect "Labels for Education!!!"
Night of Service . . .
The Home and School Association will host A Night of Service, to never forget Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to never forget those suffering from Alzheimer’s.
