Books For Kids Day 2020

We are excited to announce that Books for Kids Day 2020 is this Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-12pm!

Traditionally, Books for Kids Day is the Maryland Book Bank’s annual book collection event, however we are faced with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in time away from school and lack of access to vital educational resources.

Many families have reached out to ask us if it is possible to get books for their children. This year, rather than hosting our annual donation drive, we have decided to dedicate Books for Kids Day 2020 to doing what we do best, putting books into the hands of children!

With renewed focus, and an unshakeable commitment to the children we serve, this Saturday, May 2nd, from 9-12 , we will offer curbside pick-up at our warehouse of 10 age-appropriate titles per child, hand-selected by our staff.

Spots are VERY limited so sign up for your book pack today!

To order a book pack:

  • Click here to sign up for a time slot and to order your book pack

In order to receive a book pack, you MUST fill out an order form ahead of time. We can not distribute books to those that have not filled out an order form.

Our goal is to distribute 5,000 books to children on Books for Kids Day, and we cannot reach that goal without you. Help us make Books for Kids Day 2020 the most impactful year yet!

For more information about book pick up, check out the Maryland Book Bank website:
