Stormwater Poster Contest
Clean River Partners (CRP) and the City of Northfield are proud to announce our Ninth Annual Stormwater Poster Contest! In honor of Earth Month (April), we invite all youth in grades 2-5 who live in the City of Northfield to participate in our contest entitled, "Be the Solution to Stormwater Pollution." Posters are due by 4:00 pm on Friday, May 6th.
Everything in our streets, sidewalks and even in our yards can end up in the Cannon River from leaves and litter to dog waste and the salt on our sidewalks. Your students can join youth across the city to make a poster highlighting what we can do to keep the Cannon River Clean!
Top winners will receive great prizes and recognition!
-First place in each age group (grades 2 & 3 and grades 4 & 5) will receive a year of custard from Culver's!
-Second place will receive 10 admissions to the Northfield Pool
-Third place will receive 5 admissions to the Northfield Pool
You can see details about this contest at www.CleanRiverPartners.org
Each of the top three students in each age group will be honored at a City Council meeting and their posters put on display for a year at Northfield City Hall.
Attached below is a contest flyer (in both English and Spanish), an information sheet, a poster tips sheet and a list of stormwater videos.
I've also created a short video you can play for your students. Here's the link: https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/697023437
