UPDATES for Classrooms:
Fees: Please pay ALL school fees online. Use the linkhttps://onslow.schoolcashonline.com or the QR Code to access and pay your fees. No class is 100% yet, if you need a school fee waiver to see if you can get the fees waived, please contact your child's teacher.
Forms: Please complete and return any beginning of the year forms ASAP!
****Your student will NOT get their student laptop without the proper forms signed and returned for usage.
Supplies and Wishes: Please send in all supplies for your child. We are still in need of: 1" Binders, Dividers, Loose Leaf Wide Ruled Paper, SNACKS: Individually Wrapped.
Dojo: Please set up Dojo for your child. If you have NOT received a Dojo Message, please email your teacher with the correct email address. Use the links above to contact us.
LAPTOPS: Please be sure to send in the proper forms your child can start to bring home their device. We will be using the devices this year for classwork items, homework items, and even when quarantining. Please refer to your child's planner for any homework that may be assigned with technology. Don't forget that your child's laptop needs to removed from their bags nightly and charged. Please be sure that this becomes a routine for your child. They may or may not use their device daily in school but it needs to be a routine you build at home for charging their devices and return in their backpacks the next day. That being said, be sure your child has a backpack that can carry all their nightly supplies. They need to be able to carry their devices in a padded sleeve or padded slot in their bag. They are also REQUIRED to have a pair of headsets. These headsets will be used at school and will travel back and forth for the students to use as needed. We request OVER the EAR headphones. Earbuds are difficult to maneuver and often don't fit in their small ears. We will not assist in shoving them in their ears daily! As signed on their 1:1 Device forms, parents should monitor your child's usage of their laptops. This device is Onslow County Schools Property. All sites, documents, forms, etc. viewed and used by the students are monitored and documented. Please be sure that the devices are ONLY used for EDUCATION purposes. Any devices used for other inappropriate doings can and will be confiscated. Your child will be coming home with digital requirements some nights, please help assist in this to the best of your ability. Your child will be trained on how to use all forms, sites, and platforms needed. In the event that your child has to quarantine or school closures your child will have to be able to navigate their devices to the right sites and platforms to access work. Please contact your child's teacher should these times arise. All work will be through TEAMS.
Birthdays: Unfortunately, we are currently NOT allowed to eat cupcakes for birthdays again. But, you may send in individually wrapped snack cakes. The students love them just as much, but no treats where anything is NOT individually wrapped. Contact your teacher to find out about allergies or class details.
