A Message From Mr. A,

Any visitor on campus is required to stop by the office and get a visitor's badge. This is for the safety of our students and staff. Unless you are dropping your student off just inside the front doors, you will be asked to go to the office to comply with this measure. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Next Wednesday, September 13th, is our Grandparent's Day lunch. Grandparent's will be able to come in and eat lunch with their grandchild during their designated lunch period. Please call the front office if you have any questions.

Nurse's Station

Due to the increased student population with peanut allergies, we are asking parents NOT to send food items containing peanuts. Thank you for helping keep your students healthy, well and happy.

Counselor's Corner

Life School Mountain Creek students and families,

The school year is off to a fantastic start! My name is Erica McKenzie and I am thrilled to serve as your Eagle Counselor this school year. Feel free to email me at, give me a call at 214-623-0012 or stop by the front office if the need should arise.

The 2017-2018 school year marks the start of my tenth year in education. I currently hold a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I am married with two gorgeous daughters. When not on campus favorite past times center around family, friends and food J

I serve our Eagle Scholars by providing support, encouragement and direction through counseling sessions, meetings and programs. I look forward to collaborating with school personnel, parents/guardians and our amazing students this school year.

Be on the lookout for a video message containing an embedded messages and an opportunity to win a $20 Target gift card. SWEET!

Erica Mckenzie, M.Ed.

Dismissal: Parents, it is very important that you continue to have a name card and blue hang tag displayed every day. You will be asked to park and go inside if you do not have the blue hang tag with you. These procedures are put in place for the safety of your children and to make the dismissal process run smoothly. Thank you for adhering to these procedures. Please be advised that all visitors are required to submit a driver's license/state id and have it scanned in order to be admitted onto our campus. Be prepared for this when you come to the office to check in.

Late Pickups: Our office closes at 4:00 each afternoon. It is very important that your child is picked up before that time. Please make arrangements to ensure that this occurs each day. You will be charged $10 each time your child is picked up after 4:00.

Big Kahuna:
The final day to fund raise was Wednesday, September 6th. Thank you for all your continued effort to make this fundraiser a success. All products and prizes will be delivered on Wednesday, October 4th. Our awesome Monster Party Limo reward will be on September 20th!

Box Tops: Our school collects Box Tops for Education. Every Box Top that you turn in enables the school to earn cash for our school, which can be used to help purchase educational materials and pay for other student activities! Drop off your Box Tops in the front office collection box.
