Broad Meadows Middle School Community Update 10.1.2023
Broad Meadows Middle School Community,
We cannot believe that we are already in the month of October as September seems to have flown by. Our students are doing a great job of falling into a school routine and we look forward to some sunnier weather this week. We also want to thank all of our families who supported our first PTO Fundraiser of the year last week at Chipotles where we raised almost $300.00! We also look forward to our first PTO meeting of the year on Thursday, October 5th.
Picture Day will be on Wednesday, October 4th and we would ask that you review the section below in the newsletter for more information about the picture ordering procedure. A link for online ordering from Hayward Photography is also listed below.
Please also note that due to the observance of Columbus Day/ Indigenous Peoples' Day, there will be no school on Monday, October 9, 2023.
We hope you enjoy your Sunday and look forward to a great week at Broad Meadows!

Chromebooks
At this point, all students in grades 6-8 should have a school assigned Chromebook. To support us at school we ask that you work with your student to find a place where they can charge their Chromebook every evening so that it is ready to use every morning. Students should bring their Chromebook to school each day.
If a Chromebook breaks we would ask your student to return it to the main office and we will provide your student a replacement. If a Chromebook is lost, please work with your student to locate it. If it is not found, families may incur the charge of a replacement Chromebook per the user agreement. Please feel free to reach out to the main office during school hours if we can support you with this process.
