Fairview Families and Students,

It is hard to believe that we have been in school almost a month. Time is sure going by fast! Teachers are doing beginning of the year assessments with your child. We are excited to continue using Fountas and Pinnell as our reading curriculum and we have a new math curriculum - Ready Math that we are learning lots about. We are encouraging your child to think about what they are reading/listening to as well as thinking about problem solving in math.

Fairview Elementary will open at 7:15am Monday- Friday. Students will not be permitted in the building until 7:15am. The last morning bell rings at 7:50am. Students arriving after 7:50am will be marked tardy.

Important Dates:

-September 5th - LABOR DAY NO SCHOOL

-Warm Glow Candle Sales (August 29th and ending on Friday, September 9th) Students must turn in a permission slip in order to get an order form.

-Chocolate Sales Fundraiser 9/12 to 9/23 (permission is needed also for this fundraiser)

-Title 1 Meeting at 4pm at Fairview
