Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of Sept 26
Fall Sports
Last week saw the first PAC championships held as our girls' tennis team competed in the PAC individual championships held here at Perkiomen Valley. Cindy Li, Ananya Sudarshan, and Smiki Satrusalya all competed in the PAC Championships. Cindy advanced to the quarterfinals but lost in the playbacks for 5th place. Congratulations to all 3 ladies for their efforts and performances. The PAC championships will continue this week at Turtle Creek Golf Course as the boys round will be held Tuesday, Sept 27 at 10am and the girls round will be held Wednesday, Sept 28 at 10am. Good luck to the following boys on Tuesday: Ayush Patel, Andrew Brendlinger, Shea Fusco, Evan Lichtenstein, Jacob Loladze, Clayton Roynan, Colin Ousey, and Clark Roynan. Good luck to the following girls on Wednesday: Abigail McCorkell, Meredith Imes, Georgia Rau, Grace Bruno, Nadia Yackanicz, Brianna King, and Annabelle Willenbecher. Our boys' golf team has also qualified for the PAC team championship although the details will not be released until a later date.
As indicated in a previous message from Dr. Russell, at our recent home football games, administration has observed the need for greater oversight of our elementary and middle school students. For the remainder of the football season, these students must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry into the game. Students need to be sure to bring their student identification with them to the games. Student safety is our highest priority and we appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.
Athletic Director
