The impact COVID-19 is having on our school and communities is constantly changing. As you are aware, the state has made the decision to mandate the closure of all schools through Friday, April 17, 2020. Therefore all Muenster ISD facilities and buildings are closed. Additionally, the UIL has announced that all extracurricular events will be canceled through May 4, 2020. We will continue to monitor this ongoing situation and adjust accordingly. We will update you weekly as well as our website www.muensterisd.net and our social media pages linked below. Please click on the link below to answer a few questions about your technology needs.
We remain positive and hopeful during this time of uncertainty. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement of our teachers, staff, and administrators. We hope you are all safe and well! We miss you and look forward to all being together again soon! We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate these changes. We are making all decisions with the goal of best serving our students and their needs.
Steven Self, Muenster ISD Superintendent
Muenster ISD is currently gathering data and making plans to educate our students remotely for the coming weeks amid the current TEA required school closures. We will follow-up with those who need our assistance.
What is Distance eLearning at Muenster ISD?
The plan for instruction is to begin on Monday, April 6th, 2020. You will be receiving information from your teachers and a district communication with more details.
Students, make plans to check your school email for communications from your teachers.
At this time, Muenster ISD is committed to providing students with opportunities to review, extend, and enrich learning even when school is closed. Distance eLearning provides students with grade-appropriate activities that build curiosity and help students invest in the skills they already have.
