We LOVE JSE!
Good afternoon, JSE families,
Have a wonderful Fall Break! No school this Thursday or Friday. Students will also have no school next Friday, November 5th for teacher in-service day. Please practice those four R's: REST, RELAX, REJUVENATE, and READ. The last but definitely not the least, read! Bored kiddos? Send them to their Canvas courses for MANY learning activities! Remember each grade level has a learning resource they can access at home to reinforce skills though fun, rewarding practice.
Our kids are getting excited for Wednesday fall classroom parties and to see their friends at our Trick or Treat the JSE halls on Wednesday evening from 6-7PM.
Congrats to the students who have joined several of our after-school and before-school extra-curricular activities. We have Robotics Club, Spell Bowl, Choir, and Student Council already working hard to represent JSE! Stay tuned for action shots!
This short week, we celebrate Red Ribbon Week with lessons in the classroom and announcements on the news. Please encourage your child to wear red on Wednesday!
Enjoy our classroom pumpkins and there is still time to post your family pumpkins to the PTO facebook page!
Have a safe and relaxing fall break,
Mrs. Barnes
Come to JSE Trick or Treat to see the rest of our pumpkin family!
